Job Overview

At Boeing, we are seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Structure Technician to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Maintenance Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Canada MHLH CH-147F program.

About the Role

The Aircraft Structure Technician will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aircraft systems, as well as troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. You will also perform validation/verification testing of systems and components, and document procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aircraft systems
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Document procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight-worthiness
  • Work under general direction, interfacing with On-Site Program Management
  • Acting in leadership capacity to oversee maintenance performed by the team
  • Effectively schedule maintenance to meet contractual requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience with sheet metal work
  • 1+ years' experience with composite repair
  • 1+ years' experience with painting aircraft/components
  • FAA Airframe/Powerplant (A&P) mechanics license, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license, or Military equivalent
  • Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force operations and aircraft maintenance practices
  • Ability to obtain Canadian Secret Level II Security Clearance
  • Eligibility to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-year experience as an Aircraft Certification Authority (or Military Equivalent)
  • DRMIS experience
  • Completion of a composites repair course (Advanced composite repair desired)
  • Current Canadian Secret Clearance

Benefits

This is a full-time opportunity that provides full company-paid benefits and a retirement savings plan. The starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience, with a range of $80,000-$93,000 annually.

Security Clearance

The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government.
