We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Conduct thorough patient consultations to ensure proper medication use and address any concerns or questions
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, and ensure proper preparation, packaging, and storage of medications
• Dispense prescribed medications to patients or healthcare professionals, and provide guidance on indications, contraindications, and potential side effects
• Advise patients on the safe use of non-prescription medications and provide guidance on healthy living practices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication profiles, including records of poisons and controlled substances
• Compound prescribed medications as needed, using precise calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy and quality
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed Pharmacist in Canada with a strong commitment to patient care and medication safety. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
