Key Responsibilities:

  • Alarm Response: Respond promptly to alarms and service calls, ensuring a swift and effective response to any security incidents.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Guard Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of security guards, providing guidance and support to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Scheduling: Assist with scheduling and coordinating security services to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their security needs are met.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of security vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid G Class License: Possess a valid G Class license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
  • Drivers Abstract: Provide a clean drivers abstract with no more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years.
  • Education: Hold a Diploma in Police Foundations, Protection Security & Investigations, Border Services, or Criminology.
  • Previous Experience: Previous security experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge: Have a working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Communication Skills: Possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Certifications: Hold a High School Diploma/GED, First Aid, CPR Level C, and a valid Ontario Security License.
