Our ProgramsWe offer a range of programs, including community justice, employment, developmental services, youth justice, and community learning initiatives. Our team of experts works closely with clients to provide tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Adult Justice Worker to join our team. As a key member of our community justice program, you will work closely with clients, probation officers, and other stakeholders to provide support and guidance to help individuals navigate the justice system.
Key Responsibilities- Support clients with central intake for community service order referrals
- Complete intake requirements, including reviewing and assessing referrals to meet individual needs
- Provide information and support to clients on justice-related processes
- Ensure sanctions and community service placements are appropriate and meaningful
- Develop program and service agreements with placement agencies
- Facilitate individual and group programming as needed
- Support placement students and engage with community resources
- Minimum diploma in Social Work or related field and 3 years' experience working with vulnerable populations
- Knowledge of the justice system and community organizations
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
