Service and Installation Support Specialist

The Accurate Technology Group stands at the forefront of the low voltage wiring and home automation industry, providing exceptional solutions in audio, security systems, and more. With over 35 years of experience, we focus on servicing newly constructed residences and condominiums in the Winnipeg area. We are currently in search of a dedicated, detail-oriented, and organized individual to fill a vital role within our operations.
Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, reporting directly to the Production Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Generating and managing timesheets and work orders
- Ensuring accurate packing of components and wiring for various projects
- Providing assistance to the Production Manager as needed
- Organizing, processing, and validating documents and purchase orders
- Participating in cross-training initiatives within the Service Department
- Managing all incoming and outgoing communications professionally
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to alarms and other systems
- Downloading data from alarm panels
- Performing additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Physical capability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must provide a clean Criminal Background Check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Experience in the new-home construction sector
- Knowledge of security systems
- Understanding of Central Station Monitoring and the ability to interpret reports
- Experience in downloading alarm panel data
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with overtime as necessary.
Compensation: Salary to be negotiated.
