Cable and Internet Service Specialist

Location:

Saint-Raymond, QC

Role Overview:

The Cable and Internet Service Specialist will be tasked with the installation, disconnection, and repair of cable and internet services for our clientele. This role also involves promoting and selling our range of products and services.

Key Duties:

  • Install and maintain customer connection equipment
  • Assist clients with the installation, relocation, or replacement of their equipment
  • Ensure customer loyalty by addressing service cancellation requests or changes
  • Collaborate with network management for maintenance or repair tasks
  • Repair and maintain connection systems
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports
  • Support the training of new staff members

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet one of the following educational criteria:

  • DEC or AEC in electronics, telecommunications, or a related discipline
  • High School Diploma with vocational training in electronics, electricity, or a similar area
  • High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in telecom installation

Essential Skills:

  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Positive demeanor and excellent customer service abilities
  • Consistent work performance

The Cable and Internet Service Specialist will work a standard 37.50-hour week with varying shifts throughout the week. The compensation range is between $23.83 and $36.97 per hour.

This position reports to the Technical Operations Manager for the region.
