Your Contribution at GEI
As a vital member of our team, you will operate under the guidance of experienced management, engaging in various capacities within municipal and private sector design and construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting intricate engineering design calculations;
- Collaborating with drafting personnel to ensure accurate drawing coordination;
- Formulating construction specifications and coordinating with suppliers;
- Providing support for contract tendering and administration;
- Assisting in fieldwork alongside senior staff, which includes field measurements, condition evaluations, and construction oversight;
- Undertaking additional tasks as required.
Qualifications Required
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, ideally in your third or fourth year;
- Exhibit strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, along with adept problem-solving abilities;
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for expanding knowledge in design, construction, and operational aspects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy;
- Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
- Self-motivated individuals who can work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic team environment are preferred;
- A valid driver's license and proficiency in AutoCAD are advantageous.
