Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and ASPE, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Closing Process Management: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to deadlines.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.
  • Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings, minimizing risk and maximizing efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • CPA Designation: A CPA designation is preferred, demonstrating a high level of expertise and professionalism.
  • Accounting Experience: A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is required, with a strong understanding of GAAP and ASPE.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, enabling the candidate to navigate complex financial issues.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Dynamics) and MS Office Suite is required, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
