Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Economist Associate to join our team. As an Economist Associate, you will work on complex business problems, collaborating with our experts to develop innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct economic and financial analyses to identify key issues and develop relevant frameworks
- Formulate economic and financial models to inform business decisions
- Conduct empirical studies to gather data and insights
- Perform quantitative and qualitative research to support business strategies
- Collaborate with academic and in-house experts to develop cutting-edge analytics
- Present results of analyses to clients and stakeholders
- Think creatively about how leading-edge analytics and emerging data sources address clients' most pressing business challenges
- Coordinate multiple work-streams or analyses within a case team
- Graduate degree in economics, finance, or general business, MBA or Ph.D. preferred
- Passion for using data and analytics to solve business challenges
- Expertise in areas such as price theory, finance, industrial organization, labor economics, health economics, accounting, marketing, survey design, econometrics, market structure, and competition economics
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent academic record
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment and the ability to effectively work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Desire to continuously learn and develop professionally
