Purchasing Clerk Job Description

Ron's Equipment Rental & Industrial Supply is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for completing sales transactions, performing routine clerical duties, and processing files and paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete sales transactions and process files and paperwork
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Process requisition orders for accuracy and verify stock availability
  • Compile inventory reports and conduct quality control
  • Monitor inventory levels and prepare inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit reports
  • Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts and record stock on hand using a computerized or manual inventory system
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
