Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at CancerCare Manitoba. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with malignant disorders as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists, to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in clinical research studies and trials to advance the field of medical oncology.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of medical oncology.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in medical oncology and incorporate them into practice.

Requirements:

  • Specialty qualifications in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology in the country of current practice.
  • Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
  • Certification in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is preferred.
