We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at JOKO CONVENIENCE. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Greet Customers: Welcome customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Verify Age for Age-Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted products such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Environment

As a Retail Sales Associate at JOKO CONVENIENCE, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and move around the store to perform your duties.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
