We are seeking a skilled Painter and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Prime General Contractors Inc. as a key member of our painting and maintenance crew.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Equipment Operation: Operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting tools.
- Task Management: Estimate costs and materials, measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations, including the use of steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
