Job Summary

Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our client in their search for a Journeyman Electrician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completing electrical and mechanical emergency repairs along with general maintenance
  • Performing electrical installations
  • Assisting the maintenance department with preventative and repair maintenance
  • Troubleshooting electrical systems and automation equipment
  • Assisting with production line start-ups
  • Performing packaging line repairs as required
  • Performing certain building maintenance including HVAC
  • Providing recommendations for improvements to equipment and processes
  • Maintaining records and all other documentation related to repairs and maintenance
Requirements
  • Valid Alberta Journeyman Electrician certificate
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Must be able to read mechanic schematics to identify parts, troubleshoot machine mechanical problems; dissemble and reassemble machines
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
Bonus Points
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
