Job Title: Information Security Specialist

Trend Micro is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Deep Security Labs team, you will be responsible for researching and developing rules for our flagship datacenter security product, Deep Security, and cloud security service, Trend Micro Cloud One.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop rules for Deep Security and Trend Micro Cloud One
  • Collaborate with global teams to stay up-to-date on the latest vulnerabilities and provide timely protection to our customers
  • Write and test IPS, Integrity Monitoring, and Log Inspection rules for quality, functionality, and performance
  • Carry out testing with exploit PoCs, viruses, Metasploit, and other exploit tools
  • Perform security patch analysis, vulnerability and threat monitoring, and vulnerability scanner execution and results analysis
  • Develop and perform test cases based on the objectives of the test
  • Script various tasks and activities using bash, ruby, batch, perl

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Good hands-on experience with security tools, vulnerability scanners, fuzzing tools, and pen testing tools
  • Experience with signature development/testing or penetration testing, along with writing exploit code
  • Solid understanding of Operating Systems Internals
  • Knowledge of scripting languages
