Job Title: Live-In Nanny

We are seeking a reliable and experienced live-in nanny to join our household team. As a live-in nanny, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of our children, as well as maintaining a clean and organized home environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, including supervising children during playtime and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation
  • Assist with household errands and tasks, such as grocery shopping and running errands
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and games for the children, promoting their cognitive and social development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other household staff to ensure a smooth and harmonious household environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a live-in nanny or in a similar childcare role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in early childhood education or a related field an asset
  • First aid and CPR certification required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
Working Conditions:
  • Live-in position, with a private bedroom and bathroom
  • 35 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate family needs
  • Non-smoking household
