Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Construction Assistant to join our team at LOGIC CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Construction Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects by performing various tasks and assisting our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced team members.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to construction plans and specifications.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, safely removing debris and materials.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring a safe working area.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Will train on the job, but a willingness to learn and adapt quickly is essential.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks and overtime required.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, with a permanent employment contract. The working hours are 40 hours per week, and the language of work is English.
