Position Title: GKE Engineer/Lead

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Contract Duration: 3-6+ Months ongoing

Essential Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes clusters, particularly on GKE.

Job Overview:

As a GCP Engineer specializing in GKE, you will be responsible for:

  • 10+ years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of Kubernetes clusters, with a focus on GKE.
  • A robust understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Helm charts, and GitOps.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python or Bash.
  • Ability to read and write extensive RAW YAML files.
  • Experience in creating and managing Kubernetes Manifest YAML files.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
  • In-depth knowledge of Docker security practices.
  • Strong Linux knowledge.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CKA/CKS certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Contributions to open-source Kubernetes initiatives.
