Position Overview

Education Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment

The position is based in a **supermarket/grocery store** setting, where you will interact with customers daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register efficiently.
  • Process various forms of payment including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items accurately for billing.
  • Receive payments for goods and services rendered.
  • Greet customers warmly to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Verify customer age for restricted products such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with electronic cash registers.
  • Experience with Interac machines.
  • Ability to use price scanners effectively.
Work Conditions
