TANG MARU KOREAN RESTAURANT is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality meals for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high standards
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances to ensure their safety and satisfaction
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure we have everything we need to operate efficiently
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working effectively and safely
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure we are meeting our high standards
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and staff
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Work Environment:

TANG MARU KOREAN RESTAURANT is a fast-paced restaurant environment with a physically demanding job. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen. You will be required to communicate effectively with customers and staff in English.Work Hours:

30 hours per week, permanent position.
