Retail Sales Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 3282541 Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, making recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store appearance.
  • Participate in sales promotions, events, and other initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and support store operations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail sales or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
