About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Specialist at Mark Anthony Wine & Spirits, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's digital assets. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our networks, systems, and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network and System Monitoring: Continuously monitor and inspect our networks, systems, and security tools to detect and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of security processes, incidents, and compliance efforts.
  • Security Tool Management: Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and SIEM platforms.
  • Access Control Management: Implement and manage access control measures, including user authentication.
  • Threat Intelligence and Proactive Security Measures: Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in IT with 2+ years experience in cybersecurity: Proven experience in cybersecurity with a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Access Control Management: Expertise in managing and configuring access control systems, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required. Okta experience is preferred.
  • Security Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in using and configuring security tools such as SIEM platforms, antivirus software, and data loss prevention (DLP) tools.
  • System Administration: Strong understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix system administration, including managing security configurations, patch management, and system hardening highly preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are highly preferred.
