Job Summary

Mittson Carrier is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using computer equipment and GPS devices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy and load/unload goods safely.
  • Operate and maintain tractor-trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods safely.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Flexibility, organized, and team player with a hardworking attitude.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent work term. The work language is English, and the work hours are 40 to 60 hours per week.
