About the Role

Prestige Colors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painters and Decorators Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating activities of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of painters and decorators to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule painting and decorating activities, including preparing production reports and estimating costs and materials.
  • Staffing and Training: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, as well as arrange for ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of work, including reading blueprints and drawings, and requisitioning or ordering materials and equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the painting and decorating industry.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty conditions.
  • Work Setting: The role will involve working in a variety of locations, including construction and maintenance sites.
  • Personal Qualities: The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and a team player, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
