Job Title: Hydro Vac Truck Operator

Trinity Communication Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Hydro Vac Truck Operator to join our team. As a Hydro Vac Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating a hydrovac truck to excavate and backfill earth, load and unload goods, and perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a hydrovac truck to excavate and backfill earth, load and unload goods, and perform other duties as required.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the hydrovac truck and its equipment.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
  • Perform work in all weather conditions, day, night, or weekends with possible overnight stays.
  • Set up and work safely on high traffic roads according to Book 7 standards.
Qualifications:
  • AZ driver's license.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (Mini Backhoe, Trencher, Winch, etc.).
  • Ability to climb a twenty and ten foot straight ladder and 28 foot extension ladder weighing 80 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain a fit condition to bend, kneel and climb.
  • Ability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, pliers, side cutters, etc.).
  • Ability to safely lift loads of 65 lbs.
  • Ability to work in restricted and tight spaces.
  • Ability to ensure that deadlines are met to satisfy customer needs.
  • Ability to apply due diligence ensuring accuracy in preparing and promptly completing all necessary documentation including purchase requisitions and timesheets.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check.
  • Ability to travel across Southern Ontario if required.
