About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Labourer to join our team at Gogo Excavating & Contracting Ltd. As an Excavation Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform routine maintenance work to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Site Preparation: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to prepare the site for construction.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project requirements.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Assemble tower cranes on site and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and clean and pile salvaged materials.
Work Environment

As an Excavation Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, underground, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
