About the Role

RSM Canada LLP is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our expanding Financial Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our clients, including public and private multinational enterprises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tax teams in providing technical expertise and quality assurance on tax returns and other tax-related matters.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digitally-enabled business tax services.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to junior staff members.
  • Participate in business development and client acquisition efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA Designation.
  • 8+ years of experience in Public Accounting, preferably in a tax-focused role.
  • Strong technical skills in tax preparation and compliance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and technical aspects of tax compliance and accounting.
  • Experience in dealing with international tax matters and tax review.
  • Strong business development and client acquisition skills.
