Job Summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Services Operator to join our team. As an Industrial Services Operator, you will be responsible for providing industrial cleaning services at various locations throughout New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a variety of industrial cleaning equipment, including camera trucks, mobile wash units, and high-pressure water blast units.
  • Perform industrial cleaning tasks using hot wash, high-pressure, and hose truck equipment.
  • Conduct confined space entry jobs and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lift up to 50lbs to set up and control hoses, and to shovel waste material.
  • Accurately complete pre and post-trip inspections and work orders on time and in a legible manner.
  • Provide professional customer service to clients, customers, and vendors.
  • Participate in monthly safety meetings and report all workplace injuries, incidents, and potential hazards to your supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor at various locations.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Adhere to all environmental and health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the on-call program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Class 3 license is required
  • Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with peers and customers.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to perform confined space entry tasks
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Ability to work evenings and nights
