Nakiska Winter Sports School Instructor Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ski Instructor to join our team at Nakiska Winter Sports School. As a Ski Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ski instruction to guests of all ages and ability levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent ski instruction, adhering to standards established by the Ski & Snowboard School.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to students in a supportive and encouraging manner.
  • Ensure all communication with guests and staff is professional, timely, and supports the best interests of Nakiska Resort.
  • Assist other mountain departments/management with operational or services tasks assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 1 internationally recognized qualification(s) in ski or dual instruction.
  • Strong work ethic with individual and team-oriented work.
  • Active listening and effective communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, reliability, and responsibility.

  • Own work VISA or legal status to work in Canada.
  • Cover Letter and Resume/CV.
  • Proof of certification and active membership.
  • Criminal Record Check with clearance to work with children, dated within the last 12 months.
