Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Cefa Early Learning Richmond is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including daycare equipment.
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience an asset.
