Retail Store Manager

Calgary Wholesale Cash and Carry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our wholesale store, ensuring that sales floors are well-stocked and visually appealing, and that customer service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or wholesale environment
- Basic security clearance and a criminal record check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility and reliability, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced wholesale environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that sales floors are well-stocked and visually appealing.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours:The Retail Store Supervisor will work 30 hours per week.
