Front Desk Cashier

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Cashier to join our team at Sudbury Plaza Bowl inc.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Cashier will be responsible for operating the cash register, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
- Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, restock supplies, and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure security protocols are followed, and request proof of payment when necessary.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers, Interac machines, and computerized inventory record keeping systems.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
