Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team at CHINAZAM AUTOMOTIVE LTD. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with various tasks and projects
  • Help adjust, repair, or replace mechanical system parts
  • Work in a dusty environment and be willing to relocate
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and use personal protective equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience in a related field
  • Proficiency in Igbo language
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and relocate
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
