Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at Prosper Immigration Inc. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles from various locations to specified destinations.
  • Secure vehicles properly to the tow truck to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting vehicle owners and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of each tow, including the vehicle's condition and final destination.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks such as jump-starts and tire changes when necessary.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on the tow truck.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including dangerous goods, through proper tarping and handling.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Valid Ontario Tow License and AZ/DZ license.
  • Previous experience in towing or related commercial driving fields.
  • Strong customer service skills and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently, including nights and weekends.
  • Clean driver's abstract and criminal record.
  • Aptitude for ensuring the safety and security of cargo, including handling dangerous goods.
  • Proficiency in conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
