About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at The Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington, Ontario. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and empower residents to maintain their independence and dignity
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal support
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Collaborate with the Registered Practical Nurse to identify and report any changes in resident well-being
Requirements
  • Valid PSW Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
