We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Maritime Inn Port Hawkesbury. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing way.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
- Maintain a high level of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Participate in menu planning and preparation, suggesting new dishes and ideas.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
