Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting clinical documentation and technology solutions across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and design clinical documentation and technology solutions to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Test and implement solutions to ensure they meet business needs and are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain and support existing solutions to ensure they continue to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis, or systems support.
  • Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset.
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management an asset.
