We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our Operational Maintenance team in Grand Forks, BC.

About the Role:

As a Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability of our mobile equipment on site. This includes executing daily maintenance, fulfilling preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring that needed spare parts are readily available to maintain maximum operational uptime at minimum costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining strong reliability of all mobile equipment on site.
  • Execute daily maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure that needed spare parts are readily available.
  • Report equipment repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Mechanic Certification.
  • Heavy duty equipment repair background.
  • 5 years or more in an industrial position.
  • Forklift repair experience.
  • Safety orientation and strong value for safety.
  • Air brake knowledge and experience.
  • Diesel, propane, electric, and hydraulic background required.
  • Strong computer skills (experience with SAP, Excel, and others) an asset.
