Job Summary:

Seaboard Transport Group is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Plan and execute routes to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle maintenance and safety standards are met.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 License
  • 2 years verifiable Class 1 experience
  • Safe driving background – verified via driver's abstract
  • Fuel experience considered an asset
