Advocate for the clinical services offered by the pharmacy team within the community Employ technology effectively to enhance the delivery of clinical services Contribute to patient education initiatives both in-store and within the community Mentor fellow pharmacy team members to confidently provide basic clinical services Stay informed on all provincial/national pharmacy regulations and protocols. Knowledgeable about public vaccination programs, recommending and administering various medication and vaccine injections. Opportunities to engage in media/marketing initiatives across diverse platforms. Pursue growth and development in clinical skills and specialty certifications. Participate in continuing education to maintain proficiency in all clinical services Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution. Licensed pharmacist, registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia Practical experience in community pharmacy, with a minimum of 1 year being an asset Injection certified and comfortable administering injections to individuals aged 4 years and older Clinical certifications or designations (CDE, CTH, CRE, CTE, or others) are advantageous Successful candidates will also demonstrate: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) A commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care Experience and confidence in delivering the BC pharmacist expanded scope of practice Proficient use of technology for patient records, appointment scheduling, and efficient pharmacy service delivery.
