Role Summary
As a Geophysical Technician, you'll play a key role in field data collection, analysis, and reporting. You'll work alongside other geophysical technicians on projects involving ground-penetrating radar surveys, resistivity and conductivity, and other electromagnetic surveys. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality results for our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct ground-penetrating radar equipment field surveys
- Perform time and frequency domain electromagnetic field surveys
- Manage field data collection strategies
- Oversee data analysis, storage, and interpretation
- Prepare final reports for client delivery
- Identify hardware, software, and documentation issues
- Travel to various locations and work in diverse settings
- Maintain accurate records and perform other duties as required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Sc. in Geophysics, Geotechnical Engineering, or Geoscience
- Licensed to practice as a Geoscientist (P. Geo) in Ontario (an asset)
- 3-5 years' experience with geophysical techniques
- Self-organizing and able to multitask
- Strong communication and team skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
