Your exceptional skills in providing advice and resolving complex business challenges make you an ideal candidate for this role. As a Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Financial Services, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier financial advice to small to medium size corporates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply your business development experience to prospecting and lead generation for new and existing clients in diversified industries.
  • Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation through the review of financial statements, identifying trends, monitoring risk, and assessing for credit restructuring.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering superior business and financial advice, and industry-specific solutions.
  • Leverage the expertise of RBC by identifying referral opportunities, making introductions, and referring clients to RBC partners.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with various teams to develop and execute a client contact strategy.
  • Champion digital enablement by becoming an advocate of the RBC mobile application and wallet, promoting regular usage through educating and guiding clients on how to use it.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years commercial banking experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management.
  • Credit skills, including assessment of risk and financial analysis, credit structuring/solutions, and presenting the deal.
  • Expertise in emerging communications and technology, including web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.
  • New client acquisition skills, including pitching the value proposition, lead generation, initial customer contact, and cold calling.
  • Undergraduate degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or related experience.
