The Interior Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to enhance our pharmacy services. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients.

As a vital member of our pharmacy team, you will engage in the following responsibilities:

  1. Process medication orders that have been clinically assessed for therapeutic suitability and sanctioned by a licensed Pharmacist.
  2. Receive and validate verbal and written prescriptions from healthcare providers, ensuring their completeness and authenticity.
  3. Prepare, process, and compound various prescriptions as required.
  4. Guarantee the precision and thoroughness of dispensed medications by verifying order entries and conducting final checks on prescriptions prepared by yourself or colleagues.

Compensation for this position is set at $34.18 per hour.

This role comes with a comprehensive benefits package and offers relocation assistance of up to $7,850 for new employees moving over 40 kilometers.
