As a recognized expert, you will provide engineering design proficiency in municipal engineering, civil design, transportation, water management, sanitary systems, and stormwater design, alongside project management responsibilities. This position requires a professional who excels in a collaborative and dynamic environment, demonstrating leadership qualities and a proactive approach that aligns with Meridia Recruitment Solutions' commitment to quality, integrity, and teamwork. Occasional travel may be necessary to support diverse projects across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing expertise in municipal engineering projects, focusing on the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure developments within urban settings. Engaging in detailed civil design activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards across multiple projects. Utilizing specialized knowledge in transportation engineering to enhance the efficient and safe movement of individuals and goods through innovative design and planning. Leading the design and implementation of water, sanitary, and stormwater systems, prioritizing sustainability and functionality in these essential infrastructures. Managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, resource organization, timeline management, and ensuring quality outcomes. Overseeing project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with schedules and quality standards. Developing comprehensive documentation and drawings vital for project execution, maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance. Providing on-site support and guidance as needed to facilitate the smooth execution of projects. Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software for design, analysis, and documentation, ensuring precision and efficiency in project workflows. Supervising and managing construction activities, acting as a liaison between contractors and stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Municipal or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience. On the path to registration or currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or P.GEO. Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrated project management and technical capabilities. Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D is considered advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
