We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery & Poko Popcorn Prince George. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory treats.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Staff Training and Supervision: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Inventory and Scheduling: Organize and maintain inventory, and schedule staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
