Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dogg House Tavern. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory is properly managed.
  • Hire and train new staff members to ensure a smooth transition and high-quality service.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
