Key Responsibilities
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Navigate challenging mountainous terrain with ease, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional professionalism in customer service, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Communication: Receive and relay critical information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication throughout the transportation process.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection reports, and trip reports.
  • Transportation Experience: Proven experience in international, local, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial transportation.
  • Security Clearance: Possess a valid passport, basic security clearance, and bondable status.
  • Medical Exam: Pass a medical exam and undergo regular health checks.
