Position Overview

KCLC Properties, ULC is seeking a dedicated **Building Maintenance Technician** to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
Work Environment

This role is situated in a dynamic setting, including hotels, motels, and resorts, where your skills will be essential in providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to efficiently remove debris, dirt, and refuse.
  • Perform adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for more significant repairs.
  • Engage with contractors for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Conduct minor repairs on appliances to ensure functionality.
  • Execute safety and security inspections to uphold property standards.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.
