Mining Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Engineer to join our team at IKO Industries Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize mine designs and schedules to ensure efficient production.
- Conduct daily coordination meetings with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and analyze mine production reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement waste dump schedules and dumping plans.
- Provide mining engineering and design services for underground and open pit mine studies.
- Prepare technical specifications and assist with mining equipment procurement.
- Prepare and contribute to technical memos and reports.
- Design mine infrastructures, ventilation systems, and backfill systems.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in open pit or other mining projects.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to oversee long-term mining plans and optimize operational practices.
