About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at A & S Express Inc. as a key member of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Parts and Labour Estimation: Estimate the cost of parts and labour required to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance services on vehicles to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Testing and Adjusting: Test and adjust units to specifications to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced maintenance environment, with regular exposure to heavy equipment and tools.
  • Physical Capabilities: Possess the physical stamina to perform manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
